I have a companion one too, and also another car seat next to it in the back they always end un in the companion car seat, they don't like to be separate of each other
as long one is with them in the companion car seat, the console is great, Phoebe and Melody love it, Shayna like the back seat
as long she is with one of her sister, my hubby love it the way it hook he is all about safety
it wrap around in the front different of others almost like a child car seat
