Hello and welcome to YT. Your fur baby Adakin (great name) just sounds a little lonely. If Adakin is in his kennal all day long that normally doesn't work too well I feel for Yorkies.

Have you thought possibly about a large play pen for dogs? They are great for the house and the pet has a place to play, sleep, eat/drink, etc.

Also, if it's possible for you to come home on a break to visit with Adakin, etc that might be helpful, or have a friend check up on him.
