Seriously, you could spend ALL DAY reading on that board. They have a recap that people respond to each episode and then another misc. place each week for comments. I was a little shocked when I first found the site because I thought I was the only one that was seeing these changes in Kate - or as they say "Keight". LOL Oh, and supposedly, those dogs they got are already gone. Just wait, next season will start off with "Oh, poor Hannah was allergic and we had to get rid of them". We'll see how it happens. And the comments about Kate's spray-on way too orange tan are so true! But really, that may sound trivial but the comments (for those of you who haven't read any of it) about how the children are treated are dead-on. I've seen the kids flinch when Jon turns on one of them. And the way they get talked to sometimes..... I know it can be frustrating having so many children and you can't always be Miss Mary Sunshine but she has gotten pretty snippy lately. Funny thing is, the last couple episodes have shown a different side of Kate (a little bit softer side) but I think it's because of all the negativity on the "fan sites". Maybe she stepped back and realized how true it is and decided to lighten up just a wee bit.
They claim that at the end of each season that they take a family vote on whether to continue the show but I think this time Kate is the final vote and she's not wanting to give it up because of all the ways she is benefiting from it. Jon "says" he's not sure either but really, I don't see him wanting to go out in the real world and actually WORK either. I do want the show to continue because I like keeping up with the kids but when it negatively affects the kids, it's time to wrap it up. They don't even show Cara and Mady much anymore. I think it's by their own choice. Cara has become very quiet and withdrawn and Mady's "issues" have been more pronounced. It's probably best to leave them out of it most times.
