I was at the doggie park with boobah and tiny gina. They were running around the enclosed park. Just before I got there, my friend Kirk, told me about a man who left a pitt bull puppy in the park and took off. He was driving a black pick up truck. Too bad Kirk didnt get the license plate. The pitt had a bad case of mange. The puppy looked so sad. I called the animal regulation dept. and after an hour the ranger came by and picked her up. There was this lady there that was petsitting and she called a friend. Her friend was going to West Valley Animal regulation dept. to pick up this dog after she got out of work! I was so relieved. The puppy seemed docile and wanted attention. I know that mange is very contagious. I am glad I called the animal reg. dept. and that this lady will pick it up at the dept. What a wonderful ending to a bad situation. This man just "dropped off" this dog at the park and took off. Some people just dont have any scruples.
