When Pixie was spayed she also had some teeth pulled. My vet recommended to just give her some ice cubes to lick because too much food or water would upset her stomach because of the anesthesia. I did give her a Gerber Chicken stick because she was breaking my heart everytime she went to her empty food bowl. I love those Gerber Chicken sticks for when they aren't feeling too good.. it's easily tolerated and they are soft to chew on.. and they make a great place to tuck a pill into so they'll take it without a 2nd though. The next day Pixie was back to normal and back to her dry kibble.
