Same here I've been washing her face with a warm wash cloth and then I comb out the gunk with the flea comb. However, the hair on her face is a few shades darker than her head...it's like a brownish red color (so her face always looks dirty). I've even trimmed the hair around her eye on a weekly basis and that helps somewhat but she still has the tearing. It might be her food, but I'm really reluctant to change it again so soon since I just changed it not too long ago. She's currently getting a mix of Bil Jac and Natural Balance dry kibble with Wellness wet food. I'm going to eventually switch out Bil Jac and replace it with Solid Gold.
I've done some search on Angel Eyes on this forum and it seems like there's been both negative and positive reviews in 2006-2007, but just wondering if there's any new updated info with the use of Angel Eyes. I'm going to try distill water again with vinegar and I heard that you can use hydrogen peroxide. I may also pick-up 'calm eye' as well, it's a solution that can be used to wash around their eyes or something like that.
