Aww, that's a toughie. They're both great breeds. I had a black lab named Rookie, he was very high energy. he could play fetch forever. He was very easy to house train, and to train in general. He knew numerous commands and tricks. He was a total clown too. When we'd be outside playing I'd throw a stick that he went and grabbed. I'd throw it and he'd run and get it, if it happened to land in the bushes he would spend so much time looking for it, and if he did happen to lose it, he'd just grab another one even if it were 5 feet long. He had a knack for finding water too, if there were a puddle, pond you name it, he could find it. lol. He was also wonderful with my sister's kids, he would act like a babysitter at times. I miss him dearly.
