I don't think it's a good idea to tie a puppy up - it would be very easy for them to get tangled up or strangle themselves. I use a crate for Twinkle and she loves hers, it's also been great for housebreaking. I know what you mean about them taking up space (it took some major re-arranging to find a place for one at my house
) so maybe just use it until the puppy stage is over, and then take it down. xxx xxx
