His frame is determined by his genetics. It is possible for your dog to be under or overweight for it's frame based on the amount you feed but your dog is not 12lbs instead of 6lbs because of food...well not unless he is very obese LOL. I swear some people... I think if you deprived a puppy of proper nutrition while it's growing you could stunt it's growth but I doubt too drastically
