I've been watching the show....I have seen many many episodes (probably all of them). Its interesting and neat to see the children grow and how the parents handle them. I would say Im fan of the family, but not particularly the show.
I dont know how anyone else feels about this, but I dont understand why parents would willingly allow them to video tape bath time and show it on t.v. like that

. There is a lot of evilness in the world and child preditors, why could they expose their children to the world in what should be private situations? I think thats crossing the line. The kids are used to the cameras being there and even probably dont even notice them because of that, but how are they going to feel about this in a few years from now? All of their school friends have seen them in the bath tub like that? I just think bath time should be off-limits and private.
I think the parents are making a lot of money off of the shows and the children get to do wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than mine ever do. They are given extravagant vacation packages by resorts and stuff...but honestly, I wouldnt want a camera crew following us on our vacations and fun outings. When do the kids get a break from it? Plus-the parents have really gotten awesome gifts from those who have sympathy for them. A free tummy tuck??? Com'on.....now im really jealous!!! I had a couple of kids and a miracle birth-nobody offered me a single thing but expensive doctor bills!
I was trying to take a nap today while watching the show, but hahaha I couldnt sleep because of all of the chaos on the television. What crazy lives they live.
I guess maybe Im just jealous...the parents have so much time to do stuff with all of those kids and we dont get to do all of that because Im working mother, BUT my children are just as special as theirs! I had a rough pregnancy, was hospitalized, became deathly ill and had my baby prematurely...I understand the whole miracle of life plus Im a twin myself. My mother had 6 kids, but we all HAD to go to work to support my family. Nothing has ever been given to us just because we could pop out a bunch of babies...
Nevertheless, they are good parents! Kate is soooooooooooo hard on Jon. She's always knocking him down and putting him on the spot during the interviews, kinda have to feel sorry for him. I think sometimes she just needs to relax and let the small stuff go. I think they are good parents and set good examples for people with big families. Parents can benefit from watching and relate. One toddler in a bad mood versus 6 in a bad mood---they all make you feel stress.
Sometimes it just makes you sit and think. Yes, having 6 babies at one time is indeed special, but I dont understand what makes them anymore special than everyone else who has had children or raising multiples.
