i also use the little wahl clippers. and they will nick the edge of the ear..i did that once, and i wanted to cry. but with a little practice i got a little better each time. after i shave the ears (flat part) i then go back with a blunt tip scissor and trim right along the edge of the ear for a nice clean look. shave a little strip at the butt area too. i usually do feet with scissors also except between paw pads. its also easier for me to trim the edges of ears with the scissors if i dampen the hair a bit. but i like to shave then when dry...good luck..
