Ask for an RX and shop around online for the best price. Your general Vet may have a better price too.
Also ask for an RX for the Lactulose, and get it filled at Walmart or Costco (bigger bottles for cheap prices).
Not sure about the shunt not closing...hmmm....I would def. ask Olga about that
And sorry, but Joey will never be a normal dog, but with the proper diet, supplements, and regular Vet checks, he can come pretty darn close! |
Thanks

I will check with Olga. He is on the hepato support and something that starts with a v as well as the metranidazole and lactulose. He hates it when that dropper comes around. I took your suggestion and tried raw for Sadie tonight because she always wants Joey's food, and guess what, she wouldn't touch the NV raw chicken while Joey was jumping two feet in the air trying to get to her dish. All Sadie wanted was his food. Figures. Tomorrow I am going to try the lamb (it was buy one, get one free). Maybe she'll like that since that is what her kibble is made from. She wouldn't even lick the chicken and would pick out the kibble and throw it on the floor as well. I even put it on a spoon and on my fingertip. She wasn't going for it.
