ABSOLUTELY DO NOT give him anything to hump. It is not sexual behavior, it is dominant behavior, and although it is normal for them to do it, it is not necessary to allow them to continue. ICK!!! If you had a great dane would you allow him to hump the arm of your sofa?
Let him know that you are the packleader and everything in the house belongs to you and he is not allowed to hump it to show dominance.
I have 8 dogs, only one of them is neutered and no one does any humping unless I tell them they can.
It is bad behavior just like barking, chewing, biting, jumping, grapping your food, tearing up things etc and needs to be corrected just like any other bad behavior.
You tell them no,, and remove the object, and work on exercises that will reinforce your pack leader role.
