Hotel4Yorkies- If you're going for a SLR I would say you can't go far wrong with a Canon EOS 400D (Digital Rebel XTi) Great camera for starting out and you can get new lenses for it if you want to upgrade. I have a Canon5D now which I love but used a 400D up to now for professional shots.

I've been trying to get one on him midflight but haven't maganged to get a sharp one yet. Here's the best I could manage. I love the way yorkies lift their front paws so high when they're running over grass. Too cute.
