I feel exactly the same way. I can deal with sick and injured PEOPLE much easier than sick and injured animals. Any animal, but especially cats and dogs. I think it is because they have no control over who they are with, or what is done to them....I even feel terrible when I hear about pit bulls being raised to fight, then the group being busted and the dogs being put to sleep. It is not the animals fault. I think there is a special place in HELL for people who are mean and abuse animals.
