Most of the time this disease in humans will clear up on its own, however, your babies immune system is not strong enough for that. I would keep her on the antibiotics for as long as the vet says so.
Because there is a small chance that if you do not get it healed now, it can transfer into the blood stream and that is Not a good thing.

they mother in law has always a big bowl of table food for her lab dog and i caught my puppy licking it before but never ever gave her table food way to scared... thank you for your concern and i will keep her ont he meds as long as i have some for sure... ill keep posted...
