MY baby has bloody & Mucus stool (campylobacteriosis) So last wednesday i have been closely watching Bailey and her stool as i thought it did not look right, I ended up going to get her check out at the vet as she had liquid stool as well as blood in it and mucus around it. It ended up being Campylobacteriosis and the vet gave me prescription for her. She was on meds for 4 days and was getting somewhat better but she got off her meds on saturday and yesterday once i got home her stool was full of mucus and blood once more even worst then last time so i called up the vet and he gave me enough prescritption for 1 week this time. Now i was wonderring if anyone experience this problem with their puppy... the weird thing is that she is still playful and energetic (which is good) Is there something i can do to make her better sooner or anything i can avoid to avoid this sickness?? i know i go visit my mother in law ever weekend and she has 2 cats and 1 dog could she be getting sick from them, from drinking their water and eating their food?? if anyone has any advise it would greatly be apreciated.
thanks
