this is my first time buying a dog and i want to make sure i do it "right"

ive been talking to a breeder and plan to see her dogs this weekend. she has two males. one she said will be 4lbs the other about 5lbs. she sells "her boys that size" for $1,700. does that seem right? i tried to compare to what others were charging and it varies so much!

also, what exactly should i expect that to include? the first round of shots? anything else?

sorry if these are stupid questions, theres just so much info out there and its getting confusing and overwhelming!!
