My vet sent shelby home with sedatives to give her if she is too active during the next week.

I hate to give her this stuff but she is back to being a crazy dog 3 days after spaying. I am limiting her running area (ex pen) and I don't let her jump on/off furniture.

Do/did any of you have experience with this? The vet is concerned about her developing a hernia in her scar area?
