Rylie had a reaction a couple years ago when my parents still had him. My mom bought a flea liquid on the shelves at petsmart and he had a bad reaction where she applied it. He got a hot spot and list hair in that area. He's never had a reaction to one of the flea controls from the vet but he too always acts wierd after I apply it. He will jump off the bed and pace some and run around until he finally goes to sleep. I have just always figured he didn't like the way the luquid felt or remembered the feeling of the reaction that one time. I don't know. I bought comfortis to try this year. It's an oral flea control
