Chow Chow's are on the list of top ten most dangerous dogs. As well as dalmatians and husky's. I believe the top three are pit bulls, rotties and german shepherd.

The only reason I don't trust pit bulls if because when and IF they decide to bite into something, their jaw is so strong and they can kill a human or animal in an instant. And it's not usually their fault. Usually it's bad ownership. I've been around many pits who are the sweetest dogs ever. But, if their instinct does happen to ever kick in, you're screwed. Where as if a yorkie or maltese or something bites me, I can pick that thing up by it's neck/harness or whatever and save myself lol.
