I only use maxi pads too. (as well as for the belly bands.) Walmart has their own Equate brand that has 48 in a package for less than $4.00. Most of the time I just cut them in half.
Pantie liners are a waste of time as mine are big drinkers too and will saturate a panti-liner and it would leak all over.
