I have a 9 month old puppy, Laila. I decided to go ahead and trim her myself - BIG MISTAKE! First, it took me 3 days to get the final cut, and it wasn't perfect. She was very fidgety, and I had 2 of my friends helping me as well. The back was easy, but the face is very difficult to trim! She was angry with me for the hair cut, even though I was very gentle and took my time over 3 days. For the next 5 days or so she was angry every time I got near her face with my hands. I couldn't even put a bow in - I just let her vent it out. I will never cut her hair myself again. I think it was slightly tramatizing for both of us. She is fine and happy again now, but I will not be cutting her anymore. She is now going to go to the groomers.
