My experience with Yorkies is that they are mostly mellow little guys. Yes, there's the crazy first year where they chew up everything that they're not peeing on, and sometimes both, but overall mine have been even-tempered to mellow.

Lately, though, I've spoken with several people who have said their Yorkies are crazy hyper to the point of being unmanageable. I've run across a couple people who were considering giving theirs up because they couldn't control them. They said they wished they'd researched the breed more before they got one.

Hence this poll. I'm trying to see if my experience is typical or atypical.
