If you don't have the funds for her treatment and this vet says he can save her then why did you take her away? I don't know what is wrong with your baby and yes she may be hurting but if she is young and otherwise healthy then please seek treatment for her, even if it means giving her up. I am sorry you are having to go through all this, I know it hurts when our little one suffer. |
I believe the story went something like this:
She brought Stormy in sick, A vet told her nothing could be done for Stormy she was in pain and suffering and recommended putting her down immediately. She made the PAINFUL decision to have Stormy put down but decided not to stay in the room while it was actually done. She said her goodbyes to Stormy and went home. 5 hours later she got a phone call that Stormy was not put down yet and a DIFFERENT vet told her he thought he could save her, IF she would sign her over to him. She was told they were too busy to put Stormy down for 5 hours, so she was in a cage and suffering (like they told her) for 5 hours. (maybe she was not suffering, but the vet told her she was and that was the last she knew)
Yes its wonderful that Stormy is still alive, yes its wonderful that her condition may be able to be treated, but HOW does a vets office not get around to putting a suffering animal down for 5 hours??? How do they tell her there is nothing she/they can do for Stormy, make her make the AWFUL decision of putting her beloved pet down and then TAKE IT ALL BACK 5 hours later?? The whole situation may have been not done on purpose, but there was a lot of animal and human suffering there. This vets office seems more disorganized than shady honestly (they could have kept stormy but they did call her) ... but either way.... this girl has the right to be upset. You would be too if you had to make such a painful decision and then be told it was all for nothing. Its heart wrenching.
