I have a yorkie that had a problem with this too. My vet showed me how to remove the hair from the ear canals, prescribed Otomax and suggested an ear cleaner with a drying agent. Vet Solutions Ear cleaner is what he suggested, you can obtain it at Revivalanimal.com

I love Panalog and use it for everything..but, never used it for an ear infection. But, what I have learned is that some dogs ear infections are resistent to different antibiotics. What works on one, doesn't work on the other. Your dog may be one of those. There is, as I mentioned Otomax and Tresederm.

The one thing to remember is to keep the ears devoid of hair and make sure that a drying agent is administered after every bath.
