Ah I know what you mean! My yorkie use to do it every time my husband or I walked out the front door. Once he had both of us chasing him in the front yard and finally I had to jump and dive to catch him! Fortunately he hasn't done it in a while. Normally I'll tell him to sit,stay and wait before I open any door. This seems to have helped.
