I don't think it is the lack of socialization, either. I think it is just in a puppy's makeup. He's getting older now and becoming more confident as he does get older. That is a good sign, because it could very easily have gone the other way. I don't think it has anything to do with what you have done or have not done. They all have these different little quirks in their personalities. That's all.
