you must be firm with her....they can scense if your confident ....and in charge or just going through the motions.......we started out with a neck coller and leash...must be very careful with the neck coller....approach door..pull gently upwards on leash to stop her ...command sit....and proceed....repeat drill untill she understands who is in charge....as for walking my yorkies...we ALWAYS use a harness.......hope this will give you an idea or two.......be patient and FIRM......it may save her life! check out ..theperfectdog.com......Don Sullivans dog training kit........believe it or not it works!....We bought it...and by God with in two days we had Eddie doing the stay command...even as I walked away from him.....Good Luck.
