Hi
I live nearby and just lost my love at 16 yo 2 weeks ago. His 38 pound brother and I unbelievably sad. I can't get the images of him fetching huge (heavy!!!!) sticks he'd pick up at the nature preserve in fire Island and force me or anyone nearby to throw into the surf so he could fetch it. He'd do this for hours on end.
He was incredibly strong, happy and well-traveled and was 12 pounds for most of his life. I'm miserable without him.
So your little boy may be right for us?
DO you have any idea how big he might get? The breeder of my last 2 (who was head of the AKC for Yorkies in NY) guessed 11 or 12 for TiMop and his ancestor and was right on. This was perfect. They were incredibly strong and healthy and not the least bit fragile in any way.
So I'd guess that between about 8-13 pounds would be right for me, if possible. Much more would make them difficult to carry when taking the baby on transportation in NY.
So do you have any idea as to the weight he might reach?
Also, I couldn't get to the pictures. How do I see them and those of his parents? Can I call and see them? I'm in the East Village.
Thanks so much.
