My sami has been an itchy baby since I first brought him home! I have tried alot of different shampoos and conditioners and he still is scratching. my vet recommended veterinarian's Best Tee tree oil w/aloe itch spray and shampoo and conditioner veterinarian's formula oatmeat tea tree infuser shampoo & the Vet oatmeal protein conditioner, when I bath him with these products it does help him alot and when I towel dry him I spray him with the tea tree spray and that really gives him a break and soothes his coat and makes his hair very soft and shiny. My(vet )told me not to blow dry him because of his dry skin because that will only dry his skin and cause him to scratch more, so while I am bathing him I have a large fluffy towel in the dryer warming up so when I dry him off with the first towel I then remove him out of that one and wrap him into a warm one and continue to pat him dry. Then I spray him with the the itch spray which smells pretty good by the way theses products do help and work but only a few days I dont believe anything will ever stop their dry skin we just have to treat it and try products that will help make them comfortable. SO when your baby comes home from the groomer the blowdryer might just be causing him to itch? My groomer only uses the dryer on tilly and she wraps sami in his towel sits him in the grate to dry, and while he is drying she grooms tilly and by the time shes done with tilly sami is ready for his groom. but try the produts they will help!
