My mom's shih-tzu gets car sick and we asked the vet about it last week and he suggested she give her a half a tablet of the over the counter prescription dramamene (sp). He said if that doesn't work then there is a pill that he can prescribe but that he's had lots of successs with the over the counter meds. I'd ask your vet....see what he suggests.
