I didn't talk to Susan about the Moducare, but since I read some info about it and it's carried at Only Natural Pet (under a diff. label) - I feel okay about it. Since Marcel hasn't been a client of Susan's for a couple years now, I feel hesitant to bother her too much via email w/out paying for a consult, ya know? Too bad YT just can't keep her on "retainer"
, she has about 10 clients here! I decided on that dose bc on Only Natural they said to give 1-2 capsules to a 25 lb. dog; so, since Marcel is about 3 lbs - I'd want to give about 1/8th a capsule to start, so I'll use it approx. over a week's time. I'm guessing it'll be about a "pinch".
I too have tried Benadryl w/ him this last week and it really doesn't touch him at all, it's weird. I asked his new vet about it and she said it's her experience that Benadryl rarely helps dogs...so I guess that's what she sees. It probably works for some though. He isn't really itching much at all - his main symptom is chewing at his paws and runny/gunky eyes.
