i also wanted to add, my youngest, bree (who is in my avatar), will also get spayed but not until she is at least a year old. she is only a little over 2lbs and 6 months old. i trust my vet (he is very experienced in small animals - not just dogs and cats) and when i first brought bree in to him when she was about 3.5 months asked me when i was going to get her spayed because he recommended i do it at 6 months. i was like no way

lol. i said i would wait until i thought she was as big as she is going to get and not a second before. he is fine doing it whenever i am comfortable but i about fainted when he said at the 6 month mark

it is not because i do not trust him but because she is still so small. she is still under 2.5lbs
