Registering your dog will not make it a service dog. There is no formal recognized government testing standard for "service dogs".

Essentially all this will provide you is a patch, a nifty ID card (which you can make yourself) and a useless "certificate" stating your dog is a service dog, which again, there is no test he/she must pass to be called such.

The laws governing service dogs really needs to be defined and more strict as well as a standardized test created to give the dog such a title, imo.
