i havent had him tested yet. i have just been reading about cushings and my vet mentioned it a while back. at times my yorkie does drink a lot of water and then have to pee a lot...but not always. first i thought cushings, then i thought maybe it was the steamed chicken livers i sometime mix with his food. in the last couple of weeks he has peed on the floor near the sliding door. but he hasnt done so in about a week. he does not pant (yet). no sores. he does lick his lips at times. (i dont know what that means, if it means anything.) his hair is thinning around his torso and has been for a year or so. no other symptoms that i have noticed.

my concern is, "what if i choose NOT to have him tested." can he just live with it OR IF he has it and i dont have it treated will the "non treatment" lead to something else which could be fatal? as long as he is not in pain i kiiind of dont want the expense of testing, etc.

any advice on this is appreciated. thanks
