Not everyone that prays is catholic
And I am sure its safe to say that there was not a time that everyone was catholic. You just make it sound as if the catholics either started nascar or praying, or both, lol.
I am a very strong christian (non-catholic) and I pray daily....
If someone got offended over praying at nascar they can just choose to not pray, no one is forcing them. With all the beer drinking and crazy stuff that can go on there, I think praying is the least of things you could be offended about there.
I have never ever liked nascar at all, but knowing that they still pray before the race makes me dislike it a little less,
