Hi, if the pup is over 8 weeks, its fine to wash her. Just make sure you towel dry, then blow dry her (as stated above), and keep her in a warm place for several hours. When my girl was 8 weeks, the same day I got her I washed her because she was smelly. So I am sure it's safe if she's over 8 weeks old.
If you don't feel comfortable, just wait another week then.
