It could be he's not eating very well because he isn't getting enough exercise. Take him for long walks twice a day, or if you have a tread mill, put him in that each day for a mile walk. Next, try inexpensive round steak. Put olive oil in the skillet with a couple of whole garlic cloves cut in half lengthwise and get the skillet really hot, add the round steak, put a lid on the skillet and fry in hot skillet for 4 minutes on each side. The steak should be med. rare. Then try feeding him tiny peices at a time. He really needs to start eating better.
