I have no doubt that Glenda Beavers breeds beautiful dogs. Did she use poor judgment in shipping puppies for her long time friend....probably so.
One time about 20 years ago I had a friend come to me asking for money for an abortion. She was divorced with one child. I hesitantly gave her the money but now I have to live with the guilt the rest of my life that I contributed to the death of a child. If we all reflect back on our lives I am sure we all made choices that we regretted later. As a breeder I have made my share of mistakes. In the beginning I sold my puppies at 6 week and 7 weeks old. I started vaccinating at 6 weeks. I learned later these things were not wise and were frowned upon. I learned from my mistakes. We all do. Glenda Beavers may be regretting the mistakes she made. I am sure she knows now that her practices in helping a friend ship puppies are frowned upon by many. If someone chooses to not buy a puppy from her because of her past mistakes then that is their choice but if someone is looking for perfection in a breeder then I hate to say it but none are perfect. We all have made mistakes but most do not have them aired publicly. |
