I always worry. We live by a lake with a dam that gets lots of walkers and people who walk their dogs. Sophie loves to walk there, and that is the best place to walk. But sometimes there are people who have their dogs off leash. Once, a big dog came running at us, and I only had time to pull Sophie up by the leash. She was on a harness, and she was dangling there in mid-aire while I tried to protect myself and her. The owners of the other dog just shrugged it off. I was so mad.
Now I don't go up there very often, and I feel sorry for Sophie, since it is only a block from our house. A block the other way is a very busy street. So I don't want her near there either.
