dogs shoud never be crated any longer than what their age is plus one hour. If she's 2 mos. old, then 3 hours the longest. I am not a big fan of crate training, mostly because I can't stand being in an enclosed area. I do believe in the xpen or play pen, as they need room to play. I always put mine in the xpen with food/water/pee pad/bed and toys, or you could put the crate in there and take the door off of it where she can go in there. Good luck on your baby. Not sure what her weight is, but, with her age, make sure she's eating and drinking plenty. You want to watch for signs of hypoglycemia also. Is there someone that checks on her during the day while you're working?
