I try to walk Gus and our other dog once a day for about 45 minutes. It is their favorite thing to do. They go nuts when the time is approaching and I feel awful when I can't take them out - like when I'm sick or too busy.

I wanted to add since I'm the one that plays with him (other dog has no interest in play) the walk is needed to get rid of some of his energy. I can only play fetch for so long and he is like the Energizer Bunny.
