 anaplasmosis?
My daughters dog went in for annual checkup and her blood test showed up with a positive for this "condition", anaplasmosis. The vet seemed very concerned and we are waiting on the long blood test result. It is a tick born illness effecting the red blood cell counts, which are low. One test has come back already and the counts are fine. The next results will be in on Tuesday. Maddy is on a two week antibiotic and we are in a holding pattern. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for your help. |
