Yes, he has a Mic-key button. He's had it for 8 years now and is fed 24/7 via a pump. After the endoscopy on Monday his doctor put in a long tube with a secure lock disk as they are less likely to have the balloon break. That has been a major issue in the past. I went to put him to bed and saw he had quite a bit of drainage under the dome. I decided to change to the regular button. When I pulled the long tube out....GROSS. Let's just say the infection was obviously being held in by the disk. It's more the stoma than the external tissue. He's on clindamycin orally and bactroban externally.

I'm exhausted this morning! I was so excited I had a hard time sleeping last night!!
