Our little Jasper is already behaving himself.he uses his peepads and goes to sleep at night and doesn't whine anymore like he did when we first got him.What made a 12 wk. old do this?Persistence,I am a Stay at home Mom and I am potty training my 2yr. old boy while working with Jasper too ;-) We praise Jasper with liver snaps from the Puppy boutique where he is going to Puppy school.He also gets lots and lots of exercise so when we do put him in his crate when we eat dinner or leave the house or when we go to bed he usually goes to sleep because we have tuckered him out.We are training him with the clicker technique and he knows sit,stay and lay and come.Already at 12 wks. and is smart as a whip ;-) Be patient with her as the other said it is probably a lack of exercise,once she gets enough of that she will probably settle down a little more.
Right now we are having issues with biting but again we do this technique where we let out a yelp and stop playing with him asap.He gets the point pretty quick and stops but he still has his moments but they are pups they have many months of growing and learning. |
