I am in Jersey also, that was why I asked. While Milo's walks are not as long as in the warmer weather I make sure he is walked at least 2 x a day for a minimum of 15 min. I put a sweater or coat on him and even with the walks he still gets the zoomies (running around in circles) In the warmer weather the zomies are in issue. Trust me if you walk her you will see the difference
