Brenda - I am so sorry to hear all this!!! My sister sees Dr. Stanton-Hicks at the Cleveland Clinic for RSD and he is the world leader on this disorder as well as with the spinal stimulators. She has both a regular spinal stimulator and a 2nd one at the brain stem to retain use of her hands.
She was able to get an appointment relatively quickly when first going to him. I would highly recommend a consult. UofM is great, but he is so much better!
