They are very admirable over there on pet/dog rights. I cannot judge these people but I sure am glad no Yorkies were hurt and they are all safe, I also hope to GOD that they have seen some daylight in their lives too. I am sure that authorities are knowledgable enought to judge these people on the conditions the dogs are in, and correct it if need be. I will leave the judging up to those involved. We had a arsonist burn down a barn FULL of horses a few miles from me last year, some kid just deliberatley lit the barn on fire, no horses survived, now that is a tragedy. |
I guess people will get their own ideas too based on what region they are from. Here it is very common to have bi-level, tri-level, and walk-out ranches like we have where the "basement" is every bit as livable as the above-grade level. We are in the midst of remodling our basement right now and it has 4 large bedroom sized windows as well as a walk-out slider. We are putting 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, family room, and laundry room down there. I guess it doesn't strike me odd in the least to keep dogs down there since my children will be sleeping in ours as well as that is where I will be spending a lot of my time.
