I would recommend RESCUE only. I know many people who rescued dogs, and all of them are just best pets ever. Yes, in first week you should be patient, because of dog's background, but then.... They know that you save his/her life, and will be very very very loving. I know some people who run rescues, I fostered from them before. Those dogs just want to be loved. Nothing wrong with most of them.
Appx. 5 mln dogs are killed every year in the US because not enough homes for them. Yorkies are popular, but still there are many yorkie rescues, and many great dogs looking for new home and just want to be loved.
After I found out about pet trade industry/rescue/etc/etc/etc, I would never buy from a breeder. Because whatI learn MOST of them are just for profit, and I call it morally wrong.
I wish you good luck with finding perfect rescue dog.
If you decide to buy , please do it responsibly (means: no online/no pet store/no bad breeder) |
